Off the Mat is Mixed Martial Arts & Combat Sports show. OTM was started and created by Bernard Oliver and Jeremy Hurtt in 2010. In the winter months Jonathan Urcuyo joined the desk with the guys and Keith Helm III took the reins for on-air production. With it’s three unique looks at the sport, which are backed by facts and experience, there’s never a dull moment on air. By experience we mean you probably don’t want to catch these guys one on one in a dark alley let alone together.
OTM quickly gained success and caught the eye of local radio host Tj Carpenter. Soon it was featured on the Tj Carpenter Show on ESPN 92.1 the Ticket as a 4 minute spin off of the television show, and gained fans from around the state as well as the nation. OTM remains the pioneer of reporting on the sport of mixed martial arts in Arkansas, and continues to set the bar high. The show was then featured on Steve Weimer Live of the same radio station.
On weeks that have a PPV event coming up you can catch the OTM Crew at Buffalo Wild Wings on 32 West Joyce Boulevard, Fayetteville, AR 72703-6211 near the NW Ark Mall Thursdays at 7pm shooting the show on location.
