Andrew Halliburton
Executive Producer / Technology Director
Melissa Bollero
Assistant Executive Producer
This will be Melissa Bollero’s second year being involved with UATV, and first year to hold the position of Assistant Executive Producer. She is the Dwight Schrute to Andrew’s Michael Scott, but a lot nicer. We promise. As a junior, Melissa had no clue what her major would be until she wandered into the UATV studio a year before and found that she had a knack for television and producing. You won’t see her in the spotlight often, but she couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be an amateur movie critic. She will be the new host and producer of Razorback Reels as well as producer for a night of news during the week. You will most likely be able to find Melissa alongside Channing Barker in the UATV studio, eating Orange Mango, napping, or working!
John Thomas
Sports Director
John Thomas is a senior broadcast journalism student at Arkansas and is entering his second full year of work at UATV. Unlike most of his colleagues, John was not a journalism student when arriving on campus his freshman year. He tried his hands in the business school before realizing the error of his ways and switching to journalism by his sophomore year. Ever since his switch, John has made the most of his time in the UATV studio by contributing to almost every show in the UATV lineup including: The Sports Advantage, every night of news and yes, even The View From the Hill. As the Sports Director of the station, John will help oversee the production of the two sports specialty shows: Sports Advantage and Full Court Press, as well as the UATV sports department, bringing you all the breaking news and updates on the Razorbacks and NWA sports scene. If he is not in the UATV studio he can usually be found reading up on anything Razorbacks and St. Louis Cardinals or just sports in general.
Channing Barker
Recruitment Director
As a Senior Broadcast Journalism and Political Science major, Channing Barker will serve as this years Recruitment Director. Channing was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma but has made Fayetteville her home. From day one, Channing dove into the UATV newsroom whether it be running cameras, scrolling prompter or producing the show. Get your orange juice and oatmeal because Channing is taking over AM Arkansas to wake up the campus during the week. Channing loves great danes, or all dogs for that matter and enjoys Fayetteville in the fall. Chances are you can find Channing reading a newspaper, watching the news or napping between shows or classes in the UATV studio.
Luke Gramlich
Programming Director
This is Luke Gramlich’s second year as UATV Programming Director. Luke, a senior, first started working at UATV in Fall 2008 after transferring to the U of A to major in Broadcast Journalism. He is also Producer of UATV’s Campus Crossfire and has served as Technical Director for several UATV shows. In addition to his work at UATV, Luke does some reporting for KUAF’s Ozarks At Large.
Alyssa White
Graphic Design and Ad/PR Director
Alyssa White is a Senior Advertising/Journalism Major aspiring to work as a creative or account service representative in “the big kids world.” She will be the Director of Graphics and Promotions at UATV for 2010/2011. Alyssa has been involved in the Journalism Department since her freshmen year, as an AdClub Member. She has since been AdClub Secretary and will serve as AdClub President 2010. While Alyssa spends most of the school year studying, being apart of school activities and playing video games, she has an odd love for rocks and trees, so it’s likely you’ll find her outdoors or goofing off with friends.
