AR Supreme Court Over Turns Voter ID Law

The Arkansas Supreme Court over turned the voter ID law Wednesday.

The court says it is not constitutional because it requires Arkansas voters to qualify beyond what is set forth in the Arkansas constitution.

The court says that any opinion offered by them is purely advisory and that is not what the court intends to do.

The court also denied a petition to remove a measure regarding statewide alcohol sales from the November ballot.
