Scorsese Night on UATV

– February 22, 2010Posted in: Entertainment, Featured, Razorback Reels
Scorsese Night on UATV

Martin Scorsese is one of today’s greatest filmmakers (if not the greatest) and he’s out with a new movie - Shutter Island.  Aaron and Adam can’t talk too much about the neo-noir thriller without giving away the plot, but both strongly recommend it.

If you’re not familiar with Scorsese (or if you just need a brush-up), Melissa Bollero highlights his three most important works – Taxi Driver, Raging Bull and Goodfellas.

Mullins Library at the UA has five Scorsese films available for checkout:

  • The Last Temptation of Christ
  • Goodfellas
  • The Aviator
  • The Departed
  • Feel Like Going Home (documentary)

Tune into UATV 14 at 9:00 pm tonight, or just stay here at UATVonline.net and take advantage of our live streaming.

And, there are only 10 more days to  vote in the Silver Reels awards! Cast your ballot before March 4th!
