Winter Weather Hitting Northwest Arkansas

Well it looks like Northwest Arkansas is getting hit with winter weather once again.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Warning for Northwest Arkansas.  Looking at the radar it looks like its going to snow through 6 PM tonight.

A combination of sleet, freezing rain, and snow is falling outside right now.  Currently about 4 MPH winds out of the North-Northwest.  Currently 33 degrees — the windchill is 34 degrees.

Last year in January and February Northwest Arkansas had 2.59 inches of precipitation — that’s including last years ice storm.  So far this year NWA has had 4.58 inches of precipitation.

Looking at the radar and predictions it looks like NWA will also get a little snowfall on Monday.
